We use all halal meats unless otherwise noted. All our dishes are halal unless otherwise noted. Our vegan or vegetarian dishes are noted. We are not a gluten free kitchen.
We use premium ingredients for our seasonings and our flavors and prices reflect this. We make our own doenjang, gochujang, and ganjang. We make our own vinegars and cheongs. You will notice the flavor differences immediately.
Our seasonal side dishes are often made with farmers market ingredients or specialty ingredients that are pricier than conventional grown produce.
We’re not here to be the cheapest. Nor are we here to be overpriced. Our prices reflect a careful balance of flavor and value for the cutomers compared to our costs and labor.
Our seasoning style if refined homecooking. Susan’s mother is from Gimje and her father is from Nonsan. These were major food areas when they were children. Susan’s ancestors were rooted in Gimje and Nonsan for hundreds of years.
